1 tsp. High Quality Matcha (Jade Leaf Matcha latte)
3 tsp. Boiled water
Milk of preference
Heat water to a low simmer.
Sift 1 teaspoon of matcha powder into a bowl. Pour 3 Tablespoons of simmering water over the matcha, then move your matcha whisk back and forth in an M or O pattern to combine the powder with the water. Sweeten 1 cup cold milk with the sweetener of your choice. ( Jade Leaf Matcha doesn't really need sweetener, but it is optional)
Fill a tall glass with crushed ice. Add milk of your preference then add the matcha mixture over top, then use a straw to stir together.
I prefer honey to sweeten my lattes, but granulated or brown sugar also works well. If using honey, pour the milk into a jar, add honey, and shake very well to combine because honey is usually difficult to incorporate into milk.
Once you start making this at home you wont stop spoiling yourself with a single glass but 2 or maybe 3... anyways.
